Oxford Honor Society prepares for basketball game food drives

OXFORD – As it has for the past three years, the Oxford Academy National Honor Society will be conducting food drives during upcoming basketball games to support local pantries.

Students are asked to bring one, non-perishable food item and adults, two items in order to gain admission to Tuesday night’s girls varsity basketball game. The collected donations will benefit the McDonough Food Pantry. A second drive takes place Wednesday night during the boys junior varsity and varsity basketball games. The price for admission will be the same as Tuesday night’s game, with the proceeds going toward the Oxford Food Pantry.
