NORWICH – The Norwich Police Department arrested a man for six separate counts of rape for repeatedly forcing a girl under the age of 13 to have sex with him.
Dean M. Sacco, 48, 148 Randolph St., Jersey City, New Jersey, was arrested for three counts of first degree rape (a class B violent felony), three counts of second degree rape (a class D felony), for committing criminal sexual acts and first-degree course of sexual conduct, all felonies.
The Norwich PD was notified by Chenango County Protective Services in March about suspicious reports which triggered a police investigation. Through the course of this investigation, headed by Norwich Detective Patrick Blenis, they revealed that Sacco allegedly had repeated sexual encounters with a female under the age of 13.
