NORWICH - Saturday in the Park with Chobani returns from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, October 14, in West Park, with NBT Bank offering its annual community shred day.

Chobani will be handing out free yogurt in the park as the kick off of the fourth of the six series Saturday in the Park with Chobani continues and NBT Bank has partnered with Rogers Service Group to offer free document shredding from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

NBT takes protecting personal information seriously and because of that, they will provide an easy and safe way to dispose of old documents. There is a five bag or box maximum for personal documents only.

Norwich Business Improvement District (B.I.D.)Administrator Mindy Chawgo said, “We're excited to have everybody downtown to spend the day with us. Between Chobani and NBT, this is going to be a perfect fall day to spend together.”

Chawgo said, “We are so lucky to have added the award winning Wander Creek Farms to our weekly lineup with their fresh vegetables to offer shoppers.”

Pink Yeti is returning with freeze dried candies and additional vendors will provide an abundance of breads, meats, jams, and maple treats for holiday shoppers.

Chawgo said they are busy preparing for the upcoming Norwitch festival on October 28 and there will be 100 vendors in the park.
