NHS students receive Star of Life Award in wake of medical emergency

NORWICH When a medical emergency arose in a Norwich High School study hall on September 20, three quick thinking NHS students played a vital role in defusing the scene until Norwich EMS arrived.



In recognition of their diligence, Chloe Hyder, Hannah Baker, and Justin Bates were each presented the Star of Life Award by members of the Norwich Fire Department during small ceremony on Thursday, October 5.

NHS Principal Kisten Giglio said, "We had a medical emergency a few weeks ago and these three fine young men and women stepped right in to help.
