Norwich Tennis destroys JC before suffering first loss to rival Oneonta

NORWICH Norwich Tennis under the tutelage of coach John Stewart was riding high off their crushing win over Johnson City on Friday, April 15, when they swept JC 7-0.



The first mens singles Jamison Luke decisively pick apart JC's Thomas Corey, with sets of 6-1, and 6-4.

Carlos Ithier went to work on Fawad Ahmad when he would win in commanding fashion at 6-1, and 6-0; followed by Cameron Edwards who managed a complete shutout of his opponent on the court at 6-0 for both sets.

The doubles action saw duos of Austin Benenati and Zayn Harper; Matt Giglio and Josia Shaver; and Mike Carson and Dan Zieno all win their matches in just two sets with scores of 6-1 and 6-2, 6-1 and 6-4, and 6-2 and 6-2 respectively.
