OXFORD - The Oxford men’s varsity basketball team bounced back after a slow start in a 59-33 win over Bainbridge-Guilford.

Oxford seniors Kevin Davis and Trenton Lyons each had big nights offensively, together accounting for 43 of the Blackhawks’ 59 points. Davis had a game high of 25, and Lyons tacked on another 19 points.

Oxford Head Coach Tim Davis said, “After a slow start and getting down 6-0, our defense picked up the intensity to help the team create some offense and take a 12-8 lead at the end of the first quarter.”
