NORWICH – Two individuals appeared in Chenango County Court, both who are accused of meth-related crimes.
Michael A. Pierce, 28, of Plymouth appeared with his attorney Robert Gouldin for purposes of plea and sentence.
Previously it was made known that Pierce was found and subsequently arrested in the parking lot of a North Norwich business, when he was found to be manufacturing methamphetamine in his vehicle parked in the parking lot.
Judge Frank B. Revoir Jr. presided over the matter and First Assistant District Attorney Michael D. Ferrarese was resent on behalf of the public.
Pierce and Gouldin did both signify that they were ready to change their plea and enter a not guilty plea on the matter.
Revoir read into the record the indictment, “on May 14, 2015 in a parking lot of a local business in the Town of Norwich you did knowingly and unlawfully manufacture methamphetamine.”
Pierce did enter a plea of guilty to the top charge of unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine in the third degree, a class D felony.
