Susquehanna Valley 4, Norwich 2

CONKLIN – Susquehanna Valley encountered much more resistance from Norwich Thursday in defeating the Purple for the second time this week.

C.C. Clifford, who had a grand slam in Monday’s win over NHS, had two RBI and one run scored, and Michaela Haskell’s two-run single in the fourth was the margin of victory. “We had that one bad inning the last time we played them, and this time we avoided it,” said Norwich coach Scott Moore. “We had our chances today, and just couldn’t capitalize.”
