Cyclones post shutout wins at Cazenovia

CAZENOVIA – The Norwich Cyclones’ B and C teams downed Cazenovia Sunday with a pair of shutout victories.

Troy Spratley had first-half TD runs of 14, 19, and 24 yards for the C team in a 26-0 victory. John Lorimer added two point-after touchdown receptions from quarterback Michael Squires in building a 20-0 halftime lead. Squires added a second-half score on a one-yard run to end Norwich’s scoring.



Cameron Byrne rushed for good yardage on the day and the Cyclones defense dominated the line of scrimmage throughout as Dante Geislinger, Jared Houck, Elijah Langille, Andrew Mullen, Spratley, Tyler Rice and the entire defense held the Lakers in check.
