Glenravel, Claddagh dancers perform in New Berlin Saturday

NEW BERLIN – The New Berlin Art Forum is proud to present Glenravel and the Claddagh Ring Irish dancers for an Irish Concert on Saturday, March 16 at 7 p.m. at the Unadilla Valley Central School Auditorium.

Glenravel members include Mike Carnrike, lead vocals and song writer, who started out as a solo act locally at the Sherburne Inn and Lewis’s Restaurant for St. Patrick’s Day as well as the NYS Veterans Home in Oxford. Dan Collins, guitar, vocals, and song writer, started out as lead guitarist with a High School rock and roll band and has performed extensively with various country and rock bands throughout the Northeast U.S. Patti Carnrike, vocals and harmonies, has been singing since the age of 2 with her dad and continued singing throughout her college years with the Virginia Wesleyan Singers. Mike O’Connor, keyboards, is known throughout the area and performs with many local bands of all styles of music. The group started out in 1975, founded by Mike and Dan and the rest is a long history of entertaining our local community, and the greater New York State region. Glenravel have played throughout NY State including NYC clubs Tommy Makem’s Irish Pavilion, Paddy Reilly’s on 2nd and Lexington, The Celtic House in the Bronx, and Blaine & Noone’s on Staten Island. They have performed several times on the Irish Radio Show, live in Binghamton, and as warm-up band for the Wolfetones and most recently at The Whiskey Republic in Providence, RI, a bar owned by Ken Casey of The Dropkick Murphy’s.
