Greene 53, Oxford 31

GREENE – Greene reached the 10-win mark Monday against Oxford getting 19 points from Rebecca Smith and 17 from Kaitlin Gorton.

Smith had all of her points by the end of the third quarter, and Gorton netted 15 of her points as the the Trojans (10-5) constructed a 43-17 lead. “We were kind of sluggish early in the game, but we shot the ball well and ran the break well,” said Greene coach Dave Gorton.

The Trojans had 10 steals in the first half and finished with 15 for the game.

Rachel Seiler scored nine for Oxford.

Tonight, Greene hosts Sidney and Oxford entertains Walton.
