NORWICH – Norwich secured its victory before the meet-closing 400-yard freestyle relay to pick up its second win of the season Thursday evening at Echentile Natatorium.

Norwich won seven of the first 11 events with Nick Mooney earning two individual wins, while Ricky Finnegan, Greg Todd, and Curtis Woodard added single wins.

“We are just off our sectional times from last year, and for this time of the year, that’s prety good,” said Norwich coach Kevin Diefenbacher. “We had some guys out of the lineup, but we were able to build a big enough lead and shut it down by the last event.”
