SIDNEY – In the last year, the Sidney-based Woodshed Prophets have gained a considerable following in the Norwich area. That should come as no surprise considering the group – known for its alternative, rock-n-roll approach to folk and country music – features members of both Dirt Farm and Fetish Lane, both local favorites in the past.
Comprised of guitarists Dan Hardy and Rob Stachyra, bassist Ed Gliha and drummer Sean Kanazawich, the band is set to officially release its self-titled debut album with an 8 p.m. performance and CD Release Party tonight at McGirk’s Irish Pub, 1 Kattelville Road, Chenango Bridge, according to Gliha, formerly of Fetish Lane.
