WALTON – Walton charged out of intermission outscoring UV 23-6 in the third period to extend its 12-point halftime lead to 29 points.

Matt Bartlett and Tyler Magnis scored 11 points apiece to lead a Walton lineup that had six players score seven points or more. “In the third quarter, we turned it over a lot and didn’t show much patience on offense,” said UV coach Matt Osborne. “We took a lot of quick shots, and they got out and ran on us.”

Travis Conklin scored nine points for UV, who play at Sherburne-Earlville Friday.
