Extreme Striker creator poised to take business to the next level

OXFORD – It has been just shy of a year since Oxford graphic designer and entrepreneur Mitch Cluff launched Extreme Striker, a line of branded apparel targeted at mixed martial arts enthusiasts. Now, the owner of Striker Athletics LLC says his company is both poised to take the mixed martial arts world by storm, and positioned to offer a full array of graphic design services to the local business community.

“(The brand) is growing by leaps and bounds,” reported Cluff, who sold his first Extreme Striker-logoed T-shirts at the end of last July. Now he says thousands of MMA fans are sporting his designs.

Cluff started promoting the brand by attending events up and down the Eastern seaboard. As a result of his efforts, Extreme Striker has been featured in each of the biggest mixed martial arts competitions in the country, he said, naming Bellator Fighting Championships, WEC, Strikeforce, M-1 Global, and the sport’s premier competitive forum, UFC.

Extreme Striker has sponsored a number of fighters, according to Cluff. The most prominent among them being Jon “Bones” Jones, a 22-year old former wrestling and kick boxing champion from Endicott with a 10-1 record in the ring.
