SMYRNA – The Wolf Mountain Nature Center is holding their “Winter with the Wolves” community event on Dec. 19 and 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Wolf Mountain Nature Center located on the Hopkins Crandall Road in the town of Smyrna, and just off county route 16 near Plymouth.
The event will feature Saint Nicholas and the Grinch and the general public is invited to come see, learn and experience more about wolves and watch them enjoy their Christmas tree filled with treats. The event allows the non-profit organization to invite local residents to learn about the center’s role in animal conservation and provides proactive opportunities to influence the young to protect and respect wildlife. Will Pryor, Director and Educator at The Wolf Mountain Nature Center says this is actually an enrichment activity for the animals and events like this one are the only way the center can raise funds to feed, house and care for the animals. WE also have a unique heated gift shop that features the areas best selection of quality wolf and wildlife gifts at resonable prices.
