PRESTON – The public is invited to take a nice drive out from Norwich (West Main St.) on Chenango County 10-A to Preston to hear Jack Harris from Zanesville, Ohio. This is a return trip for Jack. He will be at the Preston United Methodist Church on Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.

Former Nashville recording artist turned Country Gospel Singer, Jack Harris says: “I’ve been through it all. You name it, and I’ve been there.” Those words take on added meaning when you discover that there are over 100 arrests and convictions on his rap sheet. About the only school he knew was reform school. Eight years of his life was spent in prison. “I’ve been stabbed, cut, hit with cars, shot and just about everything you can imagine,” says Harris. “I was a gangster, hooked on hard drugs and alcohol and one of the most hated and feared men in my home town.”
