Local author to sign books at Colorscape

NORWICH – Works of art will be on display throughout East and West Park this weekend, and one local author will be on hand to ensure the literary arts won’t be left out.

McDonough author Suzanne Bloom will host a book signing from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. during Colorscape Chenango Arts Festival on Saturday. Bloom will be signing copies of her latest children’s book, “Treasure.” The signing, sponsored by First Edition Bookstore, will be held in the Literary Arts Tent in West Park.

“Treasure,” the second book in the Goose and Bear series, features the two characters introduced by Bloom in “A Splendid Friend, Indeed.” A third book featuring the two characters is currently in the works.

“In ‘Treasure,’ Goose and Bear return, and based on a misunderstanding, they end up going on a wild goose chase,” Bloom said.
