Man airlifted after one-car drunk driving wreck in Plymouth

PLYMOUTH – A man was airlifted to Syracuse Monday afternoon with serious head injuries following a one-car accident in the Town of Plymouth.

The driver of the vehicle, Kandy A. Blair, 45, was arrested for DWI and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

The wreck occurred at around 1 p.m. on German Hollow Road near county Rt. 21. Plymouth Volunteer Fire Chief Matt Bates said the vehicle, a gold late-1990s Oldsmobile Cutlass, went off the road and down an embankment, smashing into several trees and heavy brush.
