HARPURSVILLE – Greene committed three straight errors in the second and third innings to allow five Harpursville runs to score in an opening loss to the Hornets Wednesday.
The Trojans gave up just three hits, but the nine errors proved exceptionally costly. “Our defense was indefensible,” said Greene coach Dave Gorton. “I know we have not been outside yet, but we did not make plays we are very capable of making.”
