Mother Nature closes out 2007 with dual snowstorms

CHENANGO COUNTY It may not have been an overly white Christmas, but Mother Nature will ensure winter weather will be in full swing for the New Year. As last week brought spring-like conditions to the region, winter is here again just in time to ring in the New Year.



A snow advisory issued Sunday afternoon called for three to six inches of snow and was in effect from 7 p.m. Sunday to 11 a.m. Monday. By 8 a.m. today, the snow advisory had been lifted early.
