NORWICH – Commerce Chenango is pleased to announce a new grant program that will assist Chenango County businesses in developing a website.
The program, titled “Connect Chenango,” will assist twenty Chenango County small businesses who may otherwise not be able to afford the expense of a website. The businesses will be required to provide a $300 match to a $300 grant.
Websites will all have the same basic structure including a home page and five linked pages. Basic content of the websites could include contact information for the business, photographs, product or service features, a blog or article posting, or other basic categories. More complex website design – including e-commerce features and database work – will not be included in the scope of the project, but may be accommodated by the designer outside the initial website development.
