Sherburne cuts the ribbon on Westlake Village

SHERBURNE Ė After months of waiting, the owners of the Sherburne-based West Lake Village received the official approval from the New York State Attorney Generalís Office to begin selling their condominiums to aging adults.



On Friday, a grand opening celebration was held at West Lake Village. The 37 acre lot, located at 36 West State Street in the Village of Sherburne, currently has 16 completed condominiums for sale, and future plans call for the construction of 70 more. Although some of the condominiums have been completed for several months, owners Donald Westcott and Scott Simpson were unable to go forward with selling the properties until they received the approval of the Attorney Generalís Office.
