Published: August 3rd, 2007

EARLVILLE – The Earlville Opera House’s summer of spectacular artists continues with the incomparable Tish Hinojosa. She brings her original combination of Mexican folk, country music, and touches of pop to the EOH Main Stage at 8 p.m. this Saturday. Tish Hinojosa is known for her warm and crystal pure voice that resonates with emotion adding an overall richness to the delivery of her songs.  The line up for this Saturday’s performance is Tish Hinojosa – guitar and vocals, Marvin Dykhuis – guitar and mandolin and Glenn Kawamoto – bass.  Marvin Dykhus is known for his wizardry on guitar and mandolin that has earned repeated ovations.

Born Leticia Hinojosa in San Antonio, Texas, this songwriter soaked up the traditional Mexican music of her parents, the area’s country sounds, and the rock & roll of the 1960s. Tish has released twelve albums and toured North and South America and Europe. While becoming a loved artist on the Latin and folk scene, Tish has also maintained a keen interest in social activism, particularly in Latino and women’s issues.
