NORWICH – Buying a home is a big decision. While striving to serve a greater number of clients, one local mortgage company recently merged with a national bank.
Cathy Robinson, branch manager for the formerly named Sunset Mortgage Company, explains they’ve just entered a new phase, merging with Eagle Nationwide Mortgage, a federally-charted institution out of Philadelphia.
Sunset Mortgage, located on Mitchell Street, has been serving home buyers in the area for the past six years. Robinson says the merger will allow the company to offer to more borrowers with varying needs in a growing economy.
