Oxford track competes in opener

WALTON – B-G/Afton, bolstering an 85-person contingent of boys and girls, swept a three-way meet with Oxford and Walton Tuesday afternoon.



B-GA polled 60 points in the girls to outdistance the Blackhawks (28). Oxford’s Felicia Tynan won the 100 hurdles in 17.7; Jessica Martin leaped to a first in the long jump (13-7), and Amanda Brown captured the 100-meter dash.
