Norwich band earns another first

NORWICH – The Norwich marching band brought home another victory this week and beat schools who have challenged them all season.

The Liverpool Warriors field band contest was held Saturday. Eleven bands competed with four very tough opponents in Norwich’s division.

In small school division one, scores were close among the four bands competing.

“The bands included within this division have challenged one another all season and this show proved Dome competition may be highly competitive,” Band Director Don Burke said.

Coming in fourth was Phoenix with 79.20. Third place went to East Syracuse-Minoa with 81.45, second was won by Jordan-Elbridge earning 83.15 and Norwich placed first, earning 84.50.
