For many people, warm weather is a time for fun-filled outdoor activities. However, hot weather and outdoor activities don’t always mix well, especially during periods of extreme heat. UHS is encouraging these precautions in response to the hot weather conditions forecasted for our area.

UHS Dermatology and UHS Plastic Surgery will be on-site at the UHS Health Expo at the DICK'S Open to provide skin cancer screenings for event-goers. Screenings will take place from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9. Registration for a skin cancer screening in advance is required. Select a 15-minute time slot today.

Whether it’s a routine check-up or an unexpected hospitalization, follow-up care can often lead to the need for additional services, such as filling a prescription, getting lab work done or diagnostic imaging services. UHS offers comprehensive healthcare services to meet your needs - whether you are a UHS patient or not.

Mark your calendar for an evening of excitement on Saturday, July 12, when UHS and the DICK'S Open bring you Family Fun Night at the En-Joie Golf Course. During Family Fun Night, a showing of the original “Lilo & Stitch” film will start at 7:30pm, followed right after by a fireworks display. The family-friendly event is free and open to the public.

In this issue, you'll meet Richard Kircher, who could not find an effective, long-lasting treatment option for his tremors. That was until he learned about the Focused Ultrasound treatment option, and it was closer to home than he realized.

UHS Home Care is hiring Respiratory Therapists and Physical Therapists to deliver expert care in the comfort of patients’ homes, build lasting relationships, and enjoy flexible schedules. At UHS, you’ll receive competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and join a supportive team that values your autonomy and professional growth.
