Local country favorites The Beadle Brothers topping the charts

NORWICH – Popular local country music artists The Beadle Brothers released their debut album “To the Moon and Back” under Lure Records and have not slowed their pursuit of success in the always tough music business. Meanwhile, the title track for their first offering has received air-time on radio stations throughout the country. And the brothers’ song, “Back to the Country,” hit the number one spot on the Independent World Country Chart earlier this month and remains in the top ten this week.

According to Bruce Beadle Jr., the song was released on January 13 and was written by his brother and bandmate Matt Beadle, although Bruce Jr. handles the vocals on the track.

Both brothers discovered their love for music at a very early age and knew they would strive to make their living by entertaining crowds of music-lovers across the country. They have worked hard toward their goal for many years, and reaching number one on the chart was a great milestone, they said.

On top of reaching number one on the independent country charts, the song has reached number 19 on the top 20 World Country Chart for the week ending May 31 - just a few spots shy of renowned artists such as the Zac Brown Band, Luke Bryan, Tim McGraw, and beating out artist Darius Rucker.

“We’re talking with some bigger labels in the music industry as we speak,” said Bruce Jr. “This has really given us a lot of exposure.”
