Let’s start 2013 off with a bang, Patrollers! The DVD Patrol is here to start the new year with what else? The Toddster’s favorites of 2012. Some of the choices might be a little surprising but with so much coming out. It was a hard one to make choices on. See if you agree with what we came up with.

5. Safe (2012) - Sometmes doing what’s right is never an easy thing. Luke Wright (Jason Statham) used to be a former cop but decided to leave to be an MMA fighter. That life is never an easy thing and when he’s asked to throw a fight, Luke takes a stand and wins the fight. This puts him in trouble with the Russians and they make an example of him by murdering his family. Now if he gets close to someone, they will be in danger. Luke goes on for a long time staying away from everyone until he meets a young girl named Mei (Catherine Chan). It seems Mei is very good with numbers and now she has a code that has made her the target of the Chinese Triad, some corrupt NY cops, and the same Russians that Luke has had trouble with. Luke sees she’s in danger and he takes a stand to protect her. Will Luke be able to save her?
