NORWICH – Four individuals charged with a variety of felony crimes pleaded guilty in county court Monday, two sentenced to the Chenango County Correctional Facility and five years probation, respectively; the others scheduled to be sentenced at a later date.

• Ray A. Glover, 34, Norwich, pleaded guilty to one felony count of driving while intoxicated and was sentenced to one year in the Chenango County Correctional Facility.

Glover was indicted by a Chenango County grand jury in January of 2012 on charges of driving while intoxicated and operation of a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 of 1 percent or higher – both class E felonies – as well as second degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. It was alleged that Glover – on or about Nov. 18, 2011 – was observed swaying while he walked, speaking with a slurred voice, having bloodshot and watery eyes, and smelling strongly of alcohol following a traffic stop on East Main Street in the City of Norwich. He has one prior DWI conviction, handed down by the Bradford County, Pa. Court of Common Pleas, in October of 2006.
