It’s our time for action, Patrollers! The DVD Patrol is here again and this time out we have an all-action Patrol for all of you. The Toddster was able to see some interesting people at Colorscape this past weekend. Got to meet some new people and it was really nice. This past week also marked the ten year anniversary of the tragedy of September 11. One thing our country is great for is overcoming adversity and heartbreak. That’s needed especially with what’s been happening recently with the weather and flooding. Keep your chin up and think positive. Everything will work out.

Thor - Sometimes even great heroes have to learn a lesson. Thor (Chris Hemsworth) was a warrior born and lived in the great land of Asgard. His father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) ruled with wisdom and honor. It did come with a price. They had to fight for it and lived in peace for many years. Now an ancient peace is about to be broken after the frost giants attack looking for a relic of great power. Their attack is stopped but now Thor wants to take the fight to them. Odin forbids it but Thor decides to go after them anyway. With the help of his friends, the thunder god goes into their land to find those responsible. When the battle starts to go bad, Odin arrives just in time. The king decides to punish Thor and sends him to Earth stripped of his powers and his hammer Mjolnir. There he meets Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) who is studying different dimensions. She finds him to be fascinating and might have some answers that she’s been looking for. In Asgard, Odin collapses and is sent into the Odinsleep to revitalize his power which leaves his brother Loki (Tom Huddleston) at the throne and sends the Destroyer to kill Thor. Thor has found that Humanity is noble and kind. He tries to defend them. Can he do that and find a way to get his power back? Hemsworth is wrapping up work on “The Avengers” and preparing for work on “Thor 2” right now in development.
