Plane makes emergency landing at Lt. Warren E. Eaton Airport

NORWICH A single-engine aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing at Lt. Warren Eaton Airport after its onboard electrical system failed.



The plane, a six-passenger Piper Saratoga, was piloted by David Texeira of Michigan. A single passenger, Robin Kingsley, was also onboard.

According to a flight plan filed by Texeira with the FAA, the couple departed Hamburg Airport in Erie County at 11:50 a.m. Thursday. They were en route to Westover Metropolitan Airport in Chickopee, Mass.
