62nd annual Sherburne Pageant of Bands this weekend!

SHERBURNE Approximately 20,000 people will come to Sherburne this weekend to watch 30 junior and senior high school bands participate in the 62nd Annual Sherburne Pageant of Bands. The Pageant, which was founded by Albert Whitney and Frank L. Miller, is recognized as the largest, oldest and most respected band pageant in New York State.



The bands compete for trophies and ratings, which are determined by professional judges. Pageant competitions include Concert, Parade, Small Ensemble, Color guard, Jazz Ensemble, Drum line and Drum Major events. Schools are placed in classes based on the total student population of each school district.
