Oxford Lions list Halloween parade winners

OXFORD On Sunday, Oct. 31, it was a good day for the Oxford Lions Halloween Costume Parade to be held indoors at the Oxford Fire Station. Just as it was suggested to parade outdoors, Mother Nature decided to hail, so everyone stayed put. There were some very creative costumes this year, making it a very difficult task for the judges to choose prize winners. Oxford Lion, DJ Jim Baldwin was back again as MC with his terrific (sound) castle as a wonderful backdrop for the competing youth.

Lion DJ Jim was emcee announcing each grade category and keeping things lively. The contestants marched, behind their age group Lion leader, around the room and past the judges. Lion Sigi Rademacher marched along in her farm girl costume complete with a brooding chicken on her hat.
