Winterize Your Body With A Flu Shot

NORWICH – The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends that individuals from 6 months up through seniors receive flu vaccine this year. UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital recommends that you see your health care provider to receive your flu vaccine, but if you find it more convenient to go to a flu clinic, there are five scheduled across the local area.  

Garry Root, Director of Community Relations, pointed out that three of the clinics are in local schools.  “At those clinics, we will be equipped to give the vaccine to children age four and older through senior citizens. Everyone is welcome to come to these clinics as long as they are at least four years old.” At the other two flu clinics, there will be vaccine for adults and for children ages ten and older. All of the clinics are open to the general public, and no appointment is needed. Just come to the site at the time of the flu clinic.
