HAMILTON – The curtain is open and the stage is set for the 2nd annual Act UP, Youth Theater Camp production. On Saturday, July 10 at 7 p.m., kids who have been acting up at the Act UP Theater Camp at the Palace Theater will perform two original one-acts. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. to the public and tickets are available for only $3 per person or $10 per family of four or more. Following the performance audience members can meet the cast at the Act UP cast party.

The ultimate goal was the creation of a short one-act inspired by a quote from Dr. Seuss – Bump Thump Thump Bump. “The campers have an amazing imagination with tons of creativity and talent. They have choreographed dance moves and fight scenes, written songs ... they’re incredible and we are so glad to have shared this time with them.” Says Patricia von Mechow, Director of the Palace Theater. The one-acts are filled with excitement, mystery, friendship, and scary moments.
