The Book of Eli - What some people won’t do to read a good book these days. In this case, some people are just dying to. Something bad has happened to the human race and now they are on the verge of being wiped out altogether. It’s possible that a mysterious stranger named Eli (Denzel Washington) might just have the solution to save us all. A strange book has come into his possession and now he will do whatever he has to safeguard it. However, there are those who want that knowledge for themselves and will do whatever they have to to get their hands on the book. Unfortunately, they haven’t counted on Eli. Will he do what it takes to stop them and save everyone? Washington keeps the action going with a new action thriller called “Unstoppable” coming to theaters in November with Rosario Dawson and Chris Pine (Star Trek).
When in Rome - It’s amazing the lengths that a person will go to for love. Just ask Beth (Kristen Bell). Beth’s sister was having the wedding of a lifetime in Rome but now Beth feels like she’s being passed by. She hears of an old story that if you take some coins from a fountain that your luck will change immediately. Her luck does change but not in the way she expects. Remember, the classic rule “There’s always a catch?” The catch here is whoever threw the coin in the fountain will immediately fall in love with you. Beth meets some new guys in the forms of Al (Danny Devito), Lance (Jon Heder), Gale (Dax Sheperd), and Antonio (Will Arnett). Beth does what she can to shake them but her sights are set on Nick (Josh Duhamel). Nick doesn’t believe in magic, but he does think true love is out there if you look hard enough. Can Beth find love her own way or will Nick convince her that its’ not that far away? Duhamel is hard at work with Shia Labouef on “Transformers 3” set for release next summer and Bell’s next project will be “Burlesque” heading to theaters later this year.
