Chenango United Way Completes Needs Assessment

NORWICH – The Chenango United Way announced this week the completion of its Community Needs Assessment study, and has made the information available to those interested on its website.

Partnered with Colgate University’s Upstate Institute, the local United Way sought to locate trends in local needs as compared with the 2005 assessment, according to United Way Executive Director and Chief Professional Officer Elizabeth Monaco.

“This helps us to develop priorities and plans to guide our efforts and direction over the next several years,” said Monaco. “We were curious to see if the local priorities aligned with national goals, which they did.”
