SHERBURNE – District board members have appointed an interim assistant principal for Sherburne-Earlville Middle School despite cost saving ideas discussed at a meeting last month.
David Potter was appointed to the position, effective Oct. 19. He has been a Unadilla Valley science teacher since 1995 and completed an administrative internship during the 2003/2004 school year.
The opening came about after Middle School Assistant Principal Jolene Emhof stepped in as interim principal when the school’s principal unexpectedly left in early September.
