“Glitter Queen” presents final lecture in series tonight

SHERBURNE – Sherburne-Earlville’s senior class wanted to leave a lasting gift to the community, one that they could enjoy throughout their last year of high school. With that idea in mind they decided to host a local version of the Last Lecture series, and tonight, the final talk in that series will be held.

Already this year, students have heard lectures from two teachers selected earlier this year, Michael Rodriguez and Rennie Korver. Tonight’s final lecture will be given by kindergarten teacher Nancy Heck, affectionately known as “The Glitter Queen.”

The differences among the three teachers selected are many. Aside from their teaching areas, the three have different backgrounds and experiences and each brings something different to the table.
