Oxford man killed in one-car accident

OXFORD – A 27-year-old Oxford man was killed in the early hours Sunday morning after his Ford pick-up truck left the road in the Village of Oxford, striking a utility pole, a parked truck and a house.



Jonathan A. Bush, 27, Oxford, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Chenango County Medical Examiner, Dr. John Cruz. Chenango County Sheriff’s deputies reported that Bush was ejected from the driver’s side window of his 2004 Ford pick-up as it overturned. The Sheriff, New York State Police and the Oxford Fire Department responded to the scene at approximately 3 a.m. Sunday.

The family of Norse Energy mourns the loss of one of our own. Jonathan Bush worked for us in Norwich as a Roustabout. He was not with our organization for an extended period of time but a tragedy never takes time into consideration. At this time our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and children.
