First Class to perform at Sherburne Rotary’s Music in the Park

SHERBURNE – The Sherburne Rotary’s Music in the Park season is underway for their 19th year of free concerts.

This Wednesday, the band First Class will perform from 6 to 8:30 p.m. in Gaines Park. In the second concert of the season, the Norwich band will perform an array of music from most genres, including rock, pop, country, swing, big band, jazz, blues, Latin, disco, ethnic, ballroom and Broadway.

First Class is made up of members Mark Sands, drums, violin and vocals; Matt Maholchic, guitar and vocals; Bill Pomares, woodwinds, drums and backup vocals; and Paul Greenburgh, keyboard.

The group performed as part of last year’s Music in the Park season, and according to Rotary members, they were such a big hit, that the Rotary decided to bring them back again this year.
