Norwich, Greene Police Departments collaborate for drug bust

NORWICH – The Norwich Police Department, with the help of the Village of Greene K-9 Unit, were able to seize marijuana and cocaine at a Norwich residence on Saturday.



Police executed a search warrant at 3 State St. in the City of Norwich, and allegedly found 16 marijuana plants, processed marijuana and cocaine.

Two city residents were arrested in connection to the search. Douglas Wilkinson, 27, and Kendra Mclain, 23, both of 3 State St., were arrested after the search. Wilkinson was charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful growing of cannabis, unlawful possession of marijuana and endangering the welfare of a child. Mclain was charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child.

this disgusts me, they were doing this and had their 2 kids living there!!

Just for the record. The Plank Manor shooter
has never been apprehended for that incident.
