BINGHAMTON – A federal prosecutor in New Jersey testified in U.S. District Court in Binghamton Thursday, saying he’d talked with Dean Sacco about prosecuting child sex crimes while the two were sparring partners at a New Jersey gym.
Sacco, 49, of Jersey City, N.J., and Linda O’Connor, 46, of Norwich, are on trial this week in Binghamton federal court. O’Connor is accused of selling a 12-year-old girl to Sacco in exchange for back rent in 2006 and 2007. Sacco owns an apartment building in Norwich.
