Bail reduced for Sherburne robbery defendant

NORWICH – A man facing several charges for the role he played in an attempted robbery that led to the death of a Pittsfield man last summer had his bail reduced Monday.

James F. Bush, Burdick Medbury Road, Town of Norwich, stood with his attorney Joseph A. Ermeti before Supreme Court Judge Kevin M. Dowd to face an array of charges against him.



The defendant is facing charges including three counts of attempt to commit a crime of robbery in the first degree, two counts of first degree burglary, two counts of first degree use of a firearm, two counts of second degree criminal use of a firearm, one charge of second degree criminal possession of a weapon and two counts of fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon.
