GREENE – The Village of Greene Board of Trustees adopted its 2008-09 budget following a public hearing Tuesday. The total general fund amount is $995,214, according to village officals.
That’s an increase of $20,221, or 2 percent, over last year. The general fund tax levy is $418,360.
The result is a village tax rate of $11.47 per $1,000 of assessed value, up a nickel over last year from $11.42.
