Man tries to steal $900 worth of baby formula from Wal-Mart

NORWICH – Authorities are looking for an individual who attempted to steal $900 dollars worth of baby formula Monday afternoon from the Norwich Wal-Mart on state Rt. 12.

Chenango County Sheriff’s Department Detective Sergeant Richard Cobb said at 3 p.m. a male suspect tried to exit the store with the formula, but fled, leaving behind the stolen items after being confronted by Wal-Mart’s asset protections officers.

Now would be a good time to run an article on WIC and other agencies that help out with stuff for babies. I can't believe the price of a can of baby formula!!!
