NORWICH – The Cyclones’ “C” team reached the Tri-Valley League playoff finals with a 13-0 win over a stubborn Canastota Raiders team Sunday at Alumni Field.

The Cyclones scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns of 24 and 36 yards on runs by Michael Oralls, who rushed for 111 yards on the day.  Tristan Rifanburg added a pointafter touchdown run.

The Cyclones’ blue offensive line of Storm Cook, Cole Brightman, Jordan Vinal, Matt Craig, Matt Parella, Eric Bishop, and Kevin Porack have controlled the line of scrimmage throughout the year.

Craig and Cook led the Cyclones defense, with Spencer Stone, Cameron Edwards, Oralls, Killian Benedict, and John Marvin playing big defense.  The Cyclones held Canastota offense to one first down in the game.

The Cyclones “B” team built a big first-half lead to defeat Whitesboro 27-6.

The Cyclones opened the scoring with a safety in the first quarter, and Michael Sutton scored on a nifty 25-yard punt return – also in the first.
