Cyclones Take Three Of Four From Camden

NORWICH – The Cyclones’ "C" team remained undefeated and clinched their ninth straight Tri-Valley League division championship with a 20-0 win over Camden Sunday.

John Marvin opened the scoring on a three-yard TD run after Michael Oralls raced 43 yards to the three in the first two minutes. Jordan Vinal scored the point-after touchdown on a pass from Tristan Rifanburg. Also in the first quarter, Michael Oralls reached paydirt on a 14-yard touchdown jaunt.

Marvin scored again in the second quarter on 20-yard TD toss from Rifanburg. Cameron Edwards’ pass to Vinal for the extra point ended Cyclones scoring.

The Blue Devils were held in check by the Cyclones’ defense led by Oralls, Marvin, Matt Craig, Storm Cook, Half Nelson, Landon Cummings, Everett Thompson, Eric Bishop, Ian Steward, Collin Fern, and Killian Benedict.

The Cyclones’ "B" team upended Camden 35-7.

Keagan Franklin opened Cyclones’ scoring with a 14-yard TD jaunt. Matt Murray scored a TD on a blocked punt with Jaden MacRabie kicking the PAT – all in the first quarter. Robbie Wheeler had a three-yard TD run, and MacRabie a 15-yard TD run in the second. MacRabie kicked another PAT for the 28-0 halftime lead.
